Marine Incinerator Spare Parts
Burner assemblies, refractory lining, ignition electrodes, flame scanners, sludge and dosing pumps, door seals and controls for shipboard waste and sludge incinerators.
A marine incinerator is the one piece of machinery that has to work on the day a port state control inspector asks to see it. MARPOL Annex VI governs what may be burned and IMO MEPC.244(66) sets the type-approval standard, so an incinerator that will not fire is not just an operational nuisance — it is a deficiency waiting to be written up, and sludge accumulating with nowhere to go.
Most incinerator failures come down to three things: refractory that has cracked or spalled, a burner that will not light or hold a flame, and a sludge feed system that has gummed up. We supply the wear parts for all three, plus the controls and safety devices around them, for the units actually fitted at sea — TeamTec, Atlas, Detegasa, Sunflame, Gravi Naval and the Korean and Japanese builders.
What We Supply
- Refractory lining, castable, bricks and anchors for combustion and flue chambers
- Burner assemblies, atomiser nozzles, diffuser plates and burner heads
- Ignition electrodes, ignition transformers and pilot burner assemblies
- Flame scanners, photocells and UV flame detectors
- Sludge feed pumps, dosing pumps, mechanical seals and strainers
- Rotary arms, grate bars, ash removal and de-ashing gear
- Charging door seals, gaskets, hinges and interlock switches
- Flue gas fans, dampers, thermocouples, pressure switches and control PCBs
Common Marine Incinerator Faults
- Burner fails to ignite — dirty or cracked ignition electrodes, wrong electrode gap, or a failed ignition transformer
- Flame failure trip shortly after ignition — sooted flame scanner lens, failing photocell, or poor atomisation from a worn nozzle
- Refractory cracking, spalling or shrinkage, exposing the casing and driving shell temperature up
- Sludge not feeding — blocked strainer, worn pump mechanical seal, or sludge too viscous without pre-heating
- High flue gas temperature, often from a fouled chamber or a damper not opening fully
- Charging door not sealing, causing smoke ingress into the space and an interlock trip
- Excessive smoke or unburnt residue, usually incomplete combustion from air/fuel ratio or a worn atomiser
- Thermocouple drift giving false chamber temperatures and nuisance shutdowns
Engine & Equipment Makes We Cover
Marine Incinerator Spare Parts supplied for the makes below, as genuine OEM and as class-approved equivalents — both quoted so you can decide against your survey date rather than guess.
What to Send Us for a Quote
Send the incinerator make and model from the type-approval plate, plus the capacity rating. For burner and control parts, a photograph of the existing component and its markings usually settles it faster than the manual — incinerator builders change suppliers for electrodes, scanners and nozzles across production runs.

Marine Incinerator Spare Parts — Common Questions
What superintendents and purchasing teams ask us most about marine incinerator spares.
Which marine incinerator brands do you supply spare parts for?
TeamTec, Atlas Incinerators, Detegasa, Sunflame, Gravi Naval and the Korean and Japanese builders including Hyundai and Kangrim, plus the burner makers commonly fitted to them — Weishaupt, Riello and Oilon.
Do you supply incinerator refractory lining?
Yes — castable refractory, shaped bricks and the anchors that hold them, for both the combustion and flue gas chambers. Send the incinerator model and, if you have it, a photo of the damaged area, since the grade needed depends on the chamber temperature rating.
My incinerator burner will not ignite. What usually causes that?
In order of likelihood: fouled or cracked ignition electrodes, an incorrect electrode gap after a previous overhaul, a failed ignition transformer, or a sooted flame scanner lens making the control think there is no flame. If it lights and then trips within seconds, look at the scanner and the atomiser nozzle before anything else.
Can you supply sludge and waste oil feed pumps?
Yes, along with dosing pumps, mechanical seals, strainers and the pre-heating arrangements. Sludge that will not feed is usually a blocked strainer or a worn pump seal rather than the pump itself, so tell us what you have already checked.
Are your incinerator parts MARPOL compliant?
We supply parts to the incinerator maker's specification, which is what keeps the unit within its IMO type approval under MARPOL Annex VI. Fitting a non-specification burner or control component is exactly what turns a working incinerator into a port state control deficiency.
How quickly can you deliver incinerator spares?
Stocked and readily sourced items ship from our UAE, South Korea or China hubs within 24 to 72 hours to most major ports. Refractory and complete burner assemblies can run longer, and we tell you the real date before you commit.
