Marine Engine Overhaul Kits
Top overhaul kits, decarbonisation kits, gasket and O-ring sets and complete dry-dock spare parts packages — quoted as one scope against your docking list.
The expensive part of an overhaul is rarely the parts. It is the day the job stops because one O-ring, one locking plate or one copper joint was not on the list. Kits exist to prevent exactly that, and a properly made-up kit is built from the engine maker's overhaul schedule rather than from whatever the last purchase order happened to contain.
We put kits together against the engine's running-hour schedule and against your actual docking list. For a dry dock we will take the full specification — units to be overhauled, planned measurements, known defects — and come back with one priced scope covering liners, rings, bearings, valve spindles and seats, gaskets, fasteners and the consumables, with the long-lead items flagged so nothing surprises you in week three.

Engine & Equipment Makes We Cover
Engine Overhaul Kits supplied for the makes below, as genuine OEM and as class-approved equivalents — both quoted so you can decide against your survey date rather than guess.
What to Send Us for a Quote
Send the docking list or the planned maintenance schedule with the engine make and type, the units to be opened and the running hours. If you have recent measurement records, send those too — they decide bearing thickness classes and whether a liner is going to make it to the next docking or not.

Engine Overhaul Kits — Common Questions
What superintendents and purchasing teams ask us most about marine engine overhaul kits.
Can you quote a complete dry-dock spare parts package?
Yes, and it is the way we prefer to work. Send the docking specification and we come back with one priced scope covering liners, rings, bearings, valve spares, gaskets, fasteners and consumables, with long-lead items flagged at quotation so they do not surprise you mid-docking.
What is in a top overhaul kit?
Typically the piston ring set, exhaust and inlet valve spares, cylinder head gaskets and sealing rings, the O-rings for the unit, and the fasteners that are replace-on-assembly. Exact content follows the engine maker's overhaul schedule for that unit.
Do you supply decarbonisation kits to the maker's schedule?
Yes. Kits are made up against the engine's running-hour intervals rather than assembled ad hoc, so what arrives matches what the schedule says should be replaced at that interval.
Can you supply a kit if I do not have the part numbers?
Yes. Send the engine nameplate details, the units involved and the running hours, and we build the list. Photographs of the nameplate and of anything already stripped down help us confirm the design revision.
How far in advance should I order a dry-dock package?
As early as the docking date is fixed. Most of the package ships quickly, but genuine OEM long-lead items — certain liners, crankshaft components, exchange heads — can run to several months, and those are the ones that decide whether the docking finishes on time.
Do overhaul kits come with class documentation?
Yes. Certificates of conformity and material certificates for the certifiable items, accepted by ABS, DNV, LR, BV, RINA, NK, KR and CCS.
