An ejector has no moving parts, which is why it gets ignored until the fresh water generator stops making water. The whole device depends on a precisely dimensioned nozzle and diffuser: erode the nozzle throat by a fraction of a millimetre, or scale the diffuser, and the vacuum it can pull collapses. The symptom shows up as falling distillate output or rising salinity, and the cause is almost always geometry that has quietly worn out of spec.

Why has my fresh water generator stopped making water?
Most commonly the ejector has lost vacuum. The usual causes are an eroded nozzle throat, a scaled or fouled diffuser, air leaking in past perished ejector flange O-rings, or low driving water pressure from a worn ejector pump. Check driving water pressure first — it distinguishes a pump problem from a nozzle problem without opening anything.
Can you supply ejector nozzles and diffusers separately?
Yes, individually or as matched sets. Because the vacuum depends on the nozzle-to-diffuser geometry, we normally recommend replacing them as a pair if both have seen the same service hours — a new nozzle into a worn diffuser rarely restores full output.

How do I know if an ejector nozzle is worn?
Measure the throat against the maker's drawing. Visible wire-drawing, erosion pitting or a bell-mouthed outlet all mean it is finished. Ejectors have no moving parts, so when performance drops and the driving water supply is proven, the geometry is the thing that changed.
